"You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea."--Medgar EversMy hero Medgar Evers was assassinated on June 12, 1963. It took more than 30 years to bring his killer to justice.
Today I am remembering Medgar and wish to express my gratitude to his widow Myrlie and their three children to let them know that Medgar is not forgotten.

And to think that the day before, JFK had made his greatest speech; the one about civil rights. And yesterday was the anniversary of the "Loving" decision. ML
