FALL BACK

Each year, I ask, "Do I get an extra hour of sleep?" and my brother wearily answers, "Yes, but Gerald has to work an hour more!"

I said, "You know, Daylight Saving Time was Ben Franklin's idea."  He replied, "I think it was ole Ben poking fun at the French by suggesting it would save on candle usage."  I answered, "I thought it was to help the farmers by having an extra hour for harvesting."

I asked, "I wonder why they say to set it back at two o'clock?"  Again, he wearily answered, "People probably don't know the difference between 12 AM and PM."

By, the way, it is correctly DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME, not DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.
